Grandes Dames on parade

Four splendid New York City buildings are the focus of Helpern Architects’ summer 2019 newsletter, which you can read here. First is the news of our selection to provide a master plan to Carnegie Hall, one of the world’s great concert venues. The rest of the quartet are the completion of 212 Fifth Avenue by an astonishing single sale of the top floors, the start of renovations to work we had originally done to create the Penn Club of New York on “Clubhouse Row,” and an update to our master plan for landmarked 111 East 15th Street for the faith channel Trinity Broadcasting Networks. They may not build ‘em like they used to … but rebuilding ‘em takes great skill, too – in addition to a strong sense of stewardship and courage on the part of the new owners.

The summer newsletter also celebrates a significant shared date for Principal Karl A. Lehrke and Senior Associate Betty McClure. Seven years and counting!
