This three-star, limited-service hotel is a new 239-key facility on West 33rd Street and Eighth Avenue, built opposite the iconic New York Post Office, now transformed into the Moynihan Train Hall.

Our design for the 23-story silver-gray and glass building includes a Helpern-signature 24’-high lobby whose glass facade creates high visibility for the hotel at street level. Meanwhile, 230 feet above the street, a landscaped, guests-only roof terrace offers spectacular views across Downtown Manhattan.

Besides a remarkable 23-ft-cantilevered, single-beam glass marquee, the hotel features a ground-floor garden off a limited-dining area and a board room.  Designed to high standards of sustainability, the Fairfield received a LEED Silver certificate.
